William R. Walstad, DDS
Dr. Walstad grew up in Richardson, Texas and attended the University of North Texas receiving his B.S. degree in Biochemistry in 1989. While at North Texas he was involved in social and academic fraternities and lettered three years as a baseball pitcher. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry and received his D.D.S. degree in 1994. He continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, completing his residency in 1999. He immediately joined the group practice at Oral Surgery Associates of North Texas. Today, Dr. Walstad is current member of many local and national organizations within the dental and oral surgery communities. Some of these national organizations include the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Locally, he is a member of the Dallas County Dental Association and is a past president of the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Walstad had been married to his wife Amy since 1992. They have three children Wade, Abby and Reed. Dr. Walstad enjoys spending time with his family, being at the lake, golfing and cheering on the Razorbacks.
